A photographer spent 117 hours in the severe cold to get these incredible shots

Polar bears go outside with their little babies for the first time. This happens every year between February and March in Canada’s Wapusk National Park.

Last time this happened, professional photographer Daisy Gilardini was ready.

She decided to record the first steps of the Cubs.

She waited continuously in the park for 13 days and 117 hours in front of their cave while it was even 50 degrees Celsius outside.
