Once upon a time, there was this mean store worker who made my wife, Emma, cry. Why? Because Emma was looking for a job there, and this worker was just plain rude. When Emma told me what happened, I decided to do something about it to teach that worker a lesson!
Let me introduce myself. I’m Thomas, and Emma, my wife, is a total fashionista. Seriously, her sense of style is amazing. Not to brag, but she always dresses me, and I look great, so I’m not complaining!
Emma tried all sorts of jobs before finding her true passion in fashion. She worked as a receptionist, even tried nursing for a bit, and dabbled in art. But she never found her place until recently when she decided to pursue a career in retail.
One day, Emma went to the mall and saw a lingerie store with a “Now Hiring” sign. Excited, she went in to ask about the job. But the worker there was rude. She looked Emma up and down and said mean things like: “You’re not pretty enough for this job”. Emma came home in tears, and it broke my heart to see her so upset.
I couldn’t let that worker get away with making Emma feel terrible. So, I came up with a plan. I got my friend Mike, who works in fashion, to help me out. Mike agreed without hesitation.
I dressed up nicely with Emma’s help and went back to the lingerie store. I made sure the same rude worker was there. Pretending to shop, I waited for the right moment. When the store was quiet, I approached the worker with a smile.
I asked her for help picking out lingerie for my wife as a surprise. Suddenly, she was all nice and helpful, thinking she had a big sale on her hands. I kept her busy showing me stuff while I chatted with her.
Then, I pretended to get a call from Emma and left the store. Instead, I called Mike, who came over right away. Together, we went back inside. Mike pretended to be a talent scout, praising the store as a place to find new talent.
He talked to the rude worker, making her think he might offer her a modeling job. But then, he said she didn’t have the right look. Meanwhile, he noticed me and suggested I could be a model. The worker was shocked!
I told her that my wife, Emma, would be perfect for modeling. Mike agreed and said he wanted to meet her. The worker looked like she’d seen a ghost! I made sure she understood not to judge people by their looks. Later, Emma met with Mike, who boosted her confidence. She didn’t become a model, but she felt great about herself. I was so proud of her!
We went back to the mall a week later. Emma was more confident, and we saw the rude worker still looking shocked. We decided not to go into the store, knowing Emma was worth so much more than that rude worker thought. So, that’s my story. Sometimes, the best revenge is showing someone how wrong they were. And seeing that worker’s face was priceless!
