After the accident, 95% of his body was scarred from burns: This is what he looked like before

At just four years old, Johnny Quinn from the USA endured a terrifying ordeal. While playing in a shed, his dog knocked over a candle, sparking a fire that quickly engulfed the barn. As smoke and heat overwhelmed him, Johnny screamed for help.

Fortunately, his older sister Leah heard him and bravely rushed into the flames to rescue him, pulling him out just in time. Doctors later revealed that a few more seconds in the fire could have been fatal. Johnny sustained severe burns over much of his body, beginning a long and painful recovery journey.

Over the years, Johnny underwent 80 surgeries, but the hardest part was learning to accept his new appearance. He avoided mirrors, feeling like a “monster,” and distanced himself from others due to shame. But by the age of ten, Johnny began to embrace his uniqueness and worked on self-acceptance.

He eventually went to college, connected with others, and joined an organization helping those with disabilities. Determined to make a difference, Johnny pursued his dream of becoming a model to inspire others and show that true beauty lies in strength and self-love.
