Many people assume that villagers are knowledgeable about animals, but this is far from true, as farmers are often too busy to familiarize themselves with every creature. A Chinese man named Shimoda had an unexpected field experience that proved this point.
This unusual event began when Shimoda decided to take a break from his work. While he was resting, he noticed something strange hidden in the grass.
Determined to care for these tiny creatures, Shimoda discovered that they were newborns, their eyes still closed. He thought they might grow into large dogs, so he created a small hayloft for them to stay in, ensuring their comfort.
A few days later, as the animals began to grow, Shimoda’s hypothesis was proven wrong.
To his surprise, they weren’t dogs, but rabbits, cute little rabbits. Rabbits hadn’t been common in the area for a while because of hunting, but nature had brought these little creatures to Shimoda again.
