Filipino group Miss Tres made a stunning debut on Britain’s Got Talent, performing in shimmering silver dresses that oozed catwalk glamour. Wanting to emulate the likes of Destiny’s Child and the Spice Girls, they hinted at a coming “surprise”. However, instead of opening with “Baby One More Time” by Britney Spears, they delivered a powerful rendition of “Sex Bomb” by Tom Jones, showcasing their impressive baritone vocals.
Miss Tres was between 35 and 43 years old and showed a strong stage presence and captivated the audience with her performance. Judge David Walliams was particularly impressed by their performance and the studio audience responded with thunderous applause as the trio performed. Their performance featured high-energy dance routines, shared lead vocals between the members and impeccable harmonies, and was a respectful homage to Tom Jones’ classic hit.
The audition quickly became a sensation, amassing 56 million views and making Miss Tres a standout act in Britain’s Got Talent history. They secured a spot among the show’s 24 most memorable performances. The live audience thanked them with a standing ovation.
Following their performance, Simon Cowell playfully questioned the group about their initial secrecy, to which one member cheekily replied: “You know what, Simon”, before dramatically revealing: “Surprise!” Amanda Holden praised the trio, praising their exceptional voices and her breathtaking looks. Miss Tres also made a splash on Asia’s Got Talent, where her performance video garnered 35 million views.
