Kerstin Tristan, a 56-year-old grandmother, wasn’t always a fan of tattoos. Before 2015, she even hated them. But after getting her first tattoo that same year, her perspective completely changed.
“I just wanted to try something new. You only live once,” she said.
Since then, she has spent around 30,000 euros (about 32,000 US dollars) on tattoos. Today, she is a social media sensation with over 190,000 followers on Instagram and millions of views on TikTok.
Her tattoos include vibrant roses, leopard prints, and detailed portraits that make her body a true work of art. She appreciates her transformation and says, “When I look in the mirror, I see a beautiful meadow of flowers.”
Kerstin’s story proves that self-expression knows no age limits.
