In his audition for The Voice, Stan Urban and Tom Jones struck gold with their rendition of “Great Balls of Fire”

Rock’n’roll pianist Stan Urban, 79, joined forces with legendary Sir Tom Jones, who is 83, for an impromptu performance of Jerry Lee Lewis’ “Great Balls of Fire” on The Voice UK. Their lively performance brought applause and cheers from the audience, creating an unforgettable moment.

Urban, who hails from Dundee, Scotland, made a strong impression at his blind audition with a rendition of Chuck Berry’s “Little Queenie.” His lively piano playing and powerful baritone voice won over judge Olly Murs, who turned his chair to support him.

The reaction from the judges and audience was overwhelmingly positive, with many encouraging the other judges to turn their chairs around. However, it was Murs alone who turned around and secured Urban a place on his team.
