Little Johnny came home from school excitedly waving his history test with a big 90 written on it. His dad was thrilled, but his mom, Karen, was suspicious.
She noticed something fishy about the handwriting on the 9 and the 0.
“Johnny, did you add that 0 to your grade?” she asked sternly. “No, mom, I didn’t”, Johnny replied innocently.
Karen wasn’t convinced. “Tell me the truth, Johnny. Did you really add that 0?”
Johnny insisted: “No, mom, I swear I didn’t”. But Karen wasn’t buying it. “Okay, since you’re not being honest, you’re grounded for a month.”
Panicking, Johnny pleaded: “Mom, please, I really didn’t add it!” Karen gave him one last chance. “This is your final opportunity to come clean, Johnny.”
With a heavy sigh, Johnny confessed: “…I just added the 9 to it”.
