The ship’s engine stopped working, and no one knew how to fix it.
They called an experienced 70-year-old craftsman for help. He walked around the engine a few times, then took a hammer and tapped a specific spot.
Instantly, the engine started working again. The owner got a bill for 10,000 euros and was shocked.
He asked the craftsman to explain why the charge was so high.
The craftsman replied: “Tapping with the hammer costs 2 euros. Knowing where to tap costs 9,998 euros”.
