Attendee Jackie Gonzalez captured a photo of the moment, highlighting a brief tension between the couple, who started dating in August 2023. Gonzalez observed Swift looking at Brittany Mahomes, shaking her head, and quietly muttering: “That again… I can’t handle it”, indicating her irritation.
Despite the awkward incident, the evening also showcased the couple’s affection for one another. Witnesses noted Kelce’s playful and affectionate behavior toward Swift, which included kisses and playful grabs, prompting laughter from Swift. These gestures seemed to ease her discomfort even in the presence of fans.
