A stray dog saw an open car door and decided to enter.
She couldn’t even imagine that her whole life would be better from that moment on.
It all started last year when a stray dog jumped into Bill Shaver’s car whose car door was accidentally left open while he was at a gas station.
The car was not empty. There was a woman in the front seat, but the dog quickly jumped in and just curled up in the back seat. She acted as if she had known the woman for a long time.
When this couple realized that the dog did not want to leave, they decided to take her to the vet.
When the vet examined this dog, he said that he was fighting ticks and other infections. This means that the dog does not have an owner or that it has not been at home for a long time.
The couple decided to take care of her and took her home with them.
It didn’t take her long to get used to her home.
Her new name was River.
River now finally has the life she deserves, full of love, attention and good friends.
